The month of July is not off to a very good start for the Oregon Ducks. Early Saturday morning Darren Carrington was arrested for DUII after he collided with a pole at a McDonalds in Eugene according to the Register-Guard. Following the Spring Game that saw Carrington catch three touchdowns from Quarterback Justin Herbert, it appeared he was heading in the direction of a new beginning with the new coaching staff.
Following his arrest, he was suspended indefinitely by Head Coach Willie Taggart who said he would wait for all the details to come to light before making any further decisions on Carrington’s status.
