I attended the Oregon/Oregon State game in Corvallis this last Saturday. I was interested in seeing the remodeling that occurred at Reser Stadium and compare it to the mental image I had of the last time I was there.
That time would have been in 2002. My second ex-wife and I had some friends that were Beavers fans and they took us to the Civil War game in Reser. The stadium was not up to Autzen standards at the time, that was for sure. The running bet was that the loser had to wear the other team’s sweatshirt, so naturally Oregon lost 45-24 and I was the owner of a Beavers sweatshirt.
