Oregon Ducks Junior Jillian Alleyne was named to another watch list for the upcoming season. The Naismith Award is given to the top Women’s player in College Basketball. She is joined by six other players from the Pac-12 on the list that begins with the Top 50 players. So far this season, Alleyne is leading the Oregon Ducks with consecutive double double games and is currently the active leader in the NCAA with 1442 career rebounds and counting.
The Oregon Ducks have worked on Defense this season and Alleyne is a big key to one important statistic. Kelly Graves has watched his team never be more than 9 points behind in any game this season and new additions Maite Cazorla has fed off the energy averaging better than 6 assists per game and a total of 38 on the year.
