The Oregon Ducks failed to budge in the Division I college cross country rankings, released Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The UO women are ranked No. 2 and the men are No. 8.
The Ducks have yet to compete this season. Their 2017 opener on Sept. 7 was scrubbed by smoke from the wildfires.
They officially will begin the season at 10 a.m. Friday with the Bill Dellinger Invitational at the Springfield Golf Club.
This year's women's team will be led by senior Alli Cash and sophomore Katie Rainsberger.
