EUGENE -- Star receiver recruit Jalen Hall has not reported to Oregon and will not be joining the Ducks as they begin their preseason practices Friday, head coach Mario Cristobal said Thursday.
Hall is one of several Ducks who won't be ready to begin practices for the 2018 season ahead of the first game Sept. 1, against Bowling Green. The 6-foot-3 wideout from Long Beach, California, was rated the nation's No. 9 wide receiver (No. 66 overall) by ESPN and his signing bolstered the receiving position after the Ducks missed on several other recruits. He arrived for one spring practice before leaving for what were termed "personal reasons.
