The 2016 season has not gone as planned for the Oregon Ducks or the Stanford Cardinal. Oregon just won their first Pac-12 Conference game of the year against Arizona State. Both teams have been hampered by injuries. It is hard to believe that in July both Royce Freeman and Christian McCaffrey were seen as the toast of the Conference entering the season. McCaffrey garnered Heismaan discussion.
Now, both teams are trying to get to the post season. Stanford has a easier road, but the game with Oregon always has some fireworks and I expect nothing less next weekend.
