Quarterbacks Terry Wilson and Travis Jonsen each transferred from Oregon in 2017 in search of playing time, and it appears both have found it at the Division I level.
Jonsen was named a co-starter by Montana State on Sunday, and Wilson was named Kentucky's starter Monday.
When Justin Herbert became UO's starting quarterback early in the 2016 season as a true freshman, both Wilson and Jonsen saw their opportunity for playing time close.
Wilson, from Del City, Oklahoma, originally committed to Nebraska before joining the Ducks. He left UO days into spring practice in 2017 and played last fall at Garden City (Kansas) Community College, throwing for 2,113 yards with 26 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
