The Oregon Ducks have selected University of South Florida coach Willie Taggart to be the next head football coach, according to a report Wednesday morning.
According to espn.com, the Ducks have tapped Taggart to replace Mark Helfrich, who was fired last Tuesday after four seasons a head coach.
Taggart had been at USF for four seasons, increasing his win total from two in his first season to four and then eight. This year's 10-2 record was the best in school history.
More to come on this breaking news.
