Oregon Ducks to hire Mike Johnson and complete coaching staff: Report

Oregon Ducks coach Willie Taggart has reportedly completed his coaching staff with the hiring of Mike Johnson to coach receivers, according to a Fox Sports report Friday morning.

Johnson -- the father of the top dual-threat quarterback in the 2019 class, Michael Johnson Jr. -- would replace Jimmie Dougherty, who left for UCLA after less than two months on staff.

A longtime college and NFL assistant, Johnson most recently coached at The King's Academy in Sunnyvale, California, and just four days ago the school announced Johnson was joining Jim Harbaugh's staff at Michigan, as an analyst.
