The Oregon Ducks Baseball team turned to Freshman Cole Stringer on Tuesday who threw into the 8th inning for the win against San Diego. Stringer threw in front of a part home town crowd. The Portland native earned a 5-2 win and worked his way around a baserunner in each inning til the 8th. The Oregon Offense had nine hits and five runs for the victory.
It was not the usual weekday game for the Oregon Ducks. Typically this season, Head Coach George Horton has turned to multiple pitchers to get in experience and work, but not on Monday.
