On Friday night, the Oregon Ducks Men’s Basketball had a strong start against Savannah State, but became inconsistent in the second half. They were never in danger of losing the game, but missed free throws and missed shots made it a closer contest. The Ducks could not play that game on Sunday afternoon against Valparaiso. The Crusaders came in on a 5-0 hot streak and were looking for an upset. They played tough and forced Oregon to step up their game. It was the first time this season that Oregon did not have the lead going into halftime as Valpo led by 3 points, 35-33 at the break.
