Pac-12 player of the year Sabrina Ionescu earned another accolade Wednesday when she was named a first-team all-America USA Today.
The award came on the heels of her 36-point performance in Sunday's Pac-12 tournament championship game victory in Seattle. The tournament title was the first in Oregon Ducks program history, and itself followed sixth-ranked UO's regular-season crown.
Ionescu averaged a conference-best 7.8 assists and 19.4 points per game while ranking 28th nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio. Her three-point percentage (43.7) gives UO two shooters among the country's top-16, with Lexi Bando (47.3) ranked second. Her 36 points were a record for a Pac-12 tournament final.
