Junior Deajah Stevens played an integral role in the final event, the 4×400 taking the second leg and giving herself and teammate Raevyn Rogers the opportunity to get the final points needed for the Outdoor Track and Field Championship at Hayward Field.
Stevens also has experience as an Olympian in 2016 and will spent a chunk of her Summer in London competing in the 100 Meters and 200 Meters in the IAAF World Championships. With the accomplishments behind her, she announced Wednesday on Twitter that she is leaving the University of Oregon and turning Professional.
Deajah Stevens holds the school record in the 200 Meters with a time of 22.
