EUGENE -- The timing seemed off, considering Norman Xiong had just finished one of his worst practice rounds in his two seasons with the Oregon Ducks.
Yet the conversation veered toward dominance anyway.
Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day -- they've all had their moments and looked commanding at times.
But here was Xiong, soon after shooting 5 over in a practice round Monday at Eugene Country Club, saying no top-tier golfers have blown him away since a young Tiger Woods.
"I'm not really in awe of anyone," said Xiong, who was 9 when Woods won his last major in 2008.
