BERKELEY, Calif. -- Oregon used a nine-run third inning to come from behind and beat California 13-2 at Evans Diamond on Saturday night. The nine-run inning matched the most runs the Ducks have scored in an inning since the return of baseball before the 2009 season.
How it Happened: Cal (8-9, 0-2 Pac-12) got out to the early lead scoring two runs off Ducks' starter Matt Mercer in the first. After a one-out double, Andrew Vaughn hit a two-run homer over the right field wall to give the Bears a 2-0 lead.
