Oregon safety Ugochukwu Amadi was among five players recognized by the Paul Hornung award this week.
Amadi had seven tackles, two interceptions, including a 32-yard pick-six, a pass breakup and a punt return in Oregon's 42-24 win at Cal. His versatility was recognized by the Paul Hornung Award honor roll this week along with Wake Forest's Greg Dortch, Troy's Jabir Doughtry-Frye, Penn State's KJ Hamler and Boise State's John Hightower.
The Paul Hornung Award is given annually to the most versatile player in major college football by the Louisville Sports Commission and Heisman Trophy winner and Hall of Famer Paul Hornung.
