Oregon Ducks Run and Fly Past Virginia Cavaliers

The Oregon Ducks opened the first night game of the 2016 season on Defense as Virginia won the coin toss. Virginia saw a three and out on their first possession gaining six yards to open the game. Oregon would look to play the momentum and tempo game early. Charles Nelson would field the ball at the Oregon 22 yard line.

The Ducks also saw their first possession end with a fourth down punt. The second possession saw Dakota Prukop move the team down the field using Royce Freeman who carried the ball into the end zone for six after 46 yards on the drive.
