EUGENE a Jessica Hull is living, running, record-setting proof the Oregon Ducks' Australian connection continues to pay off.
Hull is entered in the 3,000 meters in the NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships, which begin Friday in College Station, Texas.
She has the Division I's level's fourth-best time this year of 8 minutes, 58.50 seconds.
While Missouri's Karissa Schweizer is the overwhelming favorite, Hull and Oregon's Lilli Burdon, a New Zealander who owns a time of 8:59.18, give the Ducks a formidable 1-2 punch in the event.
"It's going to be a really fun meet," Hull says.
