Former Oregon Ducks Cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu was looking forward to seeing the field in Cleveland this season following a year lost from a knee injury in his final year as an Oregon player. Olomu has been rehabbing. Before the injury, Olomu was considered a high round NFL Draft pick, but he fell in the NFL Draft and was selected in the seventh round by the Cleveland Browns. Word came on Saturday that Olomu’s time in Cleveland is over as he was cut before even seeing the field
He was released with a ‘non football’ injury designation according to NBCSports after he has still not fully healed from the injury in December of 2014 that kept him out of the College Football Playoff game against Florida State and eventual game against Ohio State in the National Championship.
