Oregon Ducks ground and pound UCLA Bruins in Chip Kelly's return to Autzen: Game at a glance

EUGENE -- Chip Kelly returned to Autzen Stadium, but so too did Oregon's offensive identity.

Neither got all the results desired, but the bottom line, a 42-21 Oregon win over UCLA, stood in stark contrast to the prior two weeks for the Ducks, which outmatched the Bruins from wire to wire.

After spending the first half of the week in concussion protocol, Justin Herbert and Dillon Mitchell both played for Oregon (6-3, 3-3 Pac-12) and connected on a pair of touchdowns.

But the key to getting Oregon's two best offensive weapons in position to make those scoring plays, the running game, was back on display, albeit with average results for much of the night.
