The 24th-ranked Oregon Ducks enter their season opener as 33-point favorites over the Bowling Green Falcons, so perhaps there's little question about whether the Ducks will win the game.
Maybe the better question is: How sharp will the Ducks look against the Falcons as they begin Mario Cristobal's first season as the UO head coach?
With Justin Herbert at quarterback and Troy Dye anchoring the Oregon defense, the Ducks seem poised for a solid if not excellent season. And with a nonconference slate of Bowling Green, Portland State and San Jose State, Oregon should have some time to work out any kinks.
