Outside linebackers coach Cort Dennison, who joined Mario Cristobal's staff in January after spending the previous four seasons at Louisville coaching the inside linebackers, spoke with the media Wednesday about depth along the outside, the leadership from returning veterans as well as incorporating some new pieces into his position group in the video above.
"We have experience coming back with players who have played a lot of football games," Dennison said Wednesday of the outside linebackers group. "There’s good leadership with the older guys and people like La’Mar Winston and Justin Hollins. And then we have some players who are transitioning who played other positions before who are now transitioning outside and are doing a great job learning the scheme, learning the fine details of the defense.
