Oregon traveled all the way to Oklahoma City to face a Pac-12 team.
The Ducks, seeded third in the 2017 NCAA softball tournament, open the Women's College World Series at 4 p.m. Pacific Thursday against sixth-seeded Washington. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
It's a rematch of Washington's series win in Eugene in mid-April. UO's pair of losses to Washington were part of a longer stretch of struggles, as it followed a 35-0 start to the season with six losses in an eight-game span.
Oregon, however, has rebounded to win 15 consecutive games and is now taking part in its fourth WCWS in the past six seasons.
