Oregon Ducks face Notre Dame in NCAA women's tournament Elite 8: Live updates

SPOKANE -- Oregon is 40 minutes away from its first NCAA Tournament Final Four.

But the second-seeded Ducks women will have to beat top-seeded Notre Dame to get there.

Tipoff from Spokane Arena is 6 p.m. on ESPN.

Despite losing four players to season-ending knee injuries in the past year, the Irish have lost just three times this season, with all three to teams that landed No. 1 seeds in this year's bracket.

Notre Dame got here by rallying to beat Texas A&M in Saturday's Sweet 16, while the Ducks beat Central Michigan.

After winning the program's first conference title in 18 years and its first Pac-12 tournament championship, UO is back in the Elite Eight for a second consecutive season.
