According to the polls, the Oregon Softball team has some work to do. UCLA has a hold as the top team in the country and has the majority of first place votes, but the Oregon Ducks beat the Bruins twice this season. While they may have a slight chip on their shoulder, Oregon took care of business on the road against California in the first game of the series.
Miranda Elish threw six innings of two-hit ball for her 19th win of the year and her 18th complete game on the season for the Oregon Ducks.
