EUGENE — Mario Cristobal's first staff at Oregon is taking shape.
The Ducks' coach has retained several assistants from the staff he was part of under Willie Taggart in 2017, and has already made an addition while searching for several more.
"This is the time of year where as a head coach you are extremely busy and you’ve got to be ahead of the curve," he told The Oregonian/OregonLive last week. "You’ve really got to have a three-deep at every position on your staff, and that goes for assistant coaches and coordinators and operations people, strength staff.
