Oregon baseball opens fall practice today hoping an infusion of 16 newcomers will be the spark the program needs to make the postseason next spring.
It's a long way until the Ducks open the season on Feb. 15 at Texas Tech, but the disappointment of last season's 26-29 finish still resonates with those who've returned.
"The vibe that's going around our workouts and everything, everyone's quiet and locked in and everyone's getting their job done," junior starting pitcher Kenyon Yovan said. "Everyone's staying after weights - even the freshmen - staying after and not doing just the minimum that we're told to do.
