Press release from the University of Oregon athletic department:
Florida Atlantic scored four runs in the fourth inning and the Oregon Ducks baseball team could never respond in a 5-0 Owls win at PK Park on Saturday. The Ducks had won four in a row coming into Saturday's game.
How it happened: FAU (8-2) jumped on the Ducks in the fourth inning scoring four runs. After getting the leadoff batter to ground out, Oregon starter Cole Stringer (0-2) walked the next two hitters to set up the big inning. The Owls made Stringer pay with four straight hits following the walks.
