The defending national champion Oregon Ducks are third in the women's rankings heading into next week's NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Hayward Field.
The Ducks moved up two spots in this week's rankings after a strong performance in last weekend's regional qualifying meet.
The rankings were released Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. They forecast what appears to be a wide-open battle for the women's team title at the NCAA Championships which begin Wednesday.
