Having secured a NCAA triple crown, the University of Oregon women's track program is moving on to the next challenge.
The triple crown consists of NCAA championships in cross country, indoor and outdoor track in the same academic year. Oregon is the first women's program in NCAA history to accomplish it.
Now the UO women could have an outsized impact on the USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships, which begin Thursday in Sacramento.
There are current Ducks and ex-UO athletes all over the entry lists.
In the 100 meters alone, Deajah Stevens, Ariana Washington, Hannah Cunliffe, Jenna Prandini and Jasmine Todd have been accepted and have declared.
