The University Oregon remains in contention for the NCAA women's outdoor track and field title according to rankings released Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Performances last weekend by ChaQuinn Cook in the triple jump (45 feet, 7 inches), Sabrina Southerland in the 800 meters (2 minutes, 1.44 seconds) and Jessica Hull in the 1,500 (4:10.46), helped the Ducks move up one spot to No. 3 in the national rankings.
The UO men dropped four spots, from No. 6 to No. 10.
