EUGENE -- Oregon men's basketball might be without one of its heralded freshmen for the first month of the season..
Ducks coach Dana Altman told reporters at Pac-12 basketball media day that forward Louis King, a five-star forward who tore his meniscus in January, is "making progress" and while he was unsure of an exact timetable, mentioned early December as a potential return.
"I would anticipate maybe sometime around December 1, whenever the doctors release him," Altman said. "I'm not sure what that timetable will be. I think we'll be conservative with it because he's got a tremendous future, so we'll just have to wait and see.
