Season ticket holders got first pick from the piles of Duck gear. By 8:00 a.m. about 1200 fans were lined up outside the Moshofsky Center where inside an acre of gear was stacked waist chest high on tables.
They held a raffle that determined which section of the line entered first. This procedure was intended to prevent campers. It seems to have worked.
Once inside fans sprinted to the table of their choice. Most went to the non-cleated footwear where new Nike athletic shoes could be had for $20. One shopper said the same style goes for over $500 on eBay.
