EUGENE, Ore. – Three Oregon seniors secured individual wins on Senior Day, propelling the Ducks to a 4-1 win.
A day of celebration was capped off with a top-20 win for Oregon, as the senior class pushed the Ducks to victory. Stanford got the Ducks in a hole early, after the Cardinal won courts one and two in doubles to secure the first point of the match.
Senior Luke Vandecasteele quickly got one back for Oregon after he defeated Anders Matta 6-1, 6-0 on court six to even things at 1-1. The rest of the courts were trading point after point, as a marathon match was developing.
