EUGENE -- Oregon lost its starting center for the fourth quarter against UCLA and the first half against Utah.

Ducks starting center Jake Hanson was penalized for targeting on a blindside block late during the third quarter of Saturday's game between Oregon and UCLA at Autzen Stadium.

The penalty erased a 31-yard touchdown run by Jaylon Redd, which would've give Oregon a 35-14 lead, and resulted in Hanson's ejection. By rule, the redshirt-junior will miss the first half of Oregon's game at Utah next week as well.

Left tackle Calvin Throckmorton moved to center and Steven Jones took over at left tackle for Oregon, which after being moved back to the 46-yard line, was forced to punt on the drive.
