Horton has been with the program since it was reinstated in 2009. On Saturday he looked up at the scoreboard at the end of the game and saw his 300th win in an Oregon Ducks Uniform paced by Matt Mercer who threw seven innings of three-hit ball against Santa Clara.
The Oregon Offense dropped 15 hits led by Gabe Matthews who had four hits and two runs to go with a homerun and 4 RBI’s on the afternoon. Kyle Kassar had two runs and two hits and it hitting .375 from the leadoff spot as Oregon continues the tune-up for Pac-12 play.
