EUGENE -- Oregon freshman small forward Louis King remains on the mend and won't be suiting up for his college debut for at least another week.
King, who tore his meniscus in January, was expected to be able to play "around Dec. 1." The former five-star recruit is three weeks into a month-long rehabilitation period, according to Oregon coach Dana Altman, who didn't want to put an exact date on King's game debut.
"He's had a lot of energy," Altman said. "We're following exactly what the doctor had prescribed, as far as bringing him back over a month period.
