OMAHA, Neb. – No. 21 Oregon rallied behind a career-high 31 points from Eugene Omoruyi, but the shorthanded Ducks fell to Missouri 83-75 Wednesday at CHI Health Center Omaha.
How it Happened: Oregon had a sluggish start in its 2020-21 season opener, falling behind by 17 in the first half before an Omoruyi flurry closed the halftime gap to 42-31.
The Ducks (0-1) came out of the break with six straight points from Omoruyi to close within 42-37. The senior transfer from Rutgers scored 12 straight points for the Ducks over the first and second periods.
