EUGENE -- A pair of offensive players drew most of the attention Wednesday morning on Oregon's Hatfield-Dowlin Complex's practice fields.
One was Royce Freeman, the star senior running back who was one of several Ducks who left Saturday's win against California with an injury.
Freeman, who suffered a shoulder injury, "probably could have come back and played Saturday," coach Willie Taggart said, and Wednesday he took part in drills without any apparent limitations during the 20-minute portion open to media.
"He's day to day with the rest of them," Taggart added. "But I expect Royce to play whenever Royce want to play.
