EUGENE, Ore. – The 16th-ranked Oregon volleyball team extended its winning streak against California to nine in a row on Friday night with a 25-12, 25-22, 25-22 sweep of the Golden Bears in front of 1,685 fans in Matthew Knight Arena.
The Ducks (13-6, 6-3 Pac-12) hit .368 and had four players finish with double-digit kills to pick up their eighth sweep of the season and third in conference play. Oregon kept pace in a crowded Pac-12 race with the win and built some momentum ahead of Sunday's showdown with No. 2 Stanford (11 a.m., ESPN2).
