HONOLULU – The No. 12 Oregon volleyball team got its final week of nonconference play off to a good start on Thursday night with a 25-18, 25-23, 25-22 sweep of Hawai'i in front of 5,288 fans in the Stan Sheriff Center.
The Ducks (6-3) mounted a terrific comeback in to win the second set and were led offensively by Lindsey Vander Weide and Ronika Stone in the sweep of the Rainbow Wahine (4-4), UO's first true road win of the season.
Oregon will face Hawai'I again at 10 p.m. PT Friday night in its final match before Pac-12 play begins.
