EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon quarterback Bo Nix was announced as the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year on Tuesday and was one of 16 total Ducks to receive all-Pac-12 honors after a vote of the conference's coaches.
Announced on Monday as a finalist for the 2023 Heisman Trophy, Nix becomes the fourth Duck ever to be named the conference offensive player of the year, joining Marcus Mariota (2014), Dennis Dixon (2007) and Joey Harrington (2001).
Nix is one of six Ducks named to the all-Pac-12 first team, along with defensive end Brandon Dorlus, tight end Terrance Ferguson, wide receiver Troy Franklin, defensive back Khyree Jackson and offensive lineman Jackson Powers-Johnson.
