Nick Aliotti, former Oregon Ducks defensive coordinator, joined me on the Bald Faced Truth radio show on Monday, where he said Oregon should have taken a knee on its final possession of regulation against Stanford.
Aliotti felt Stanford coach David Shaw had conceded by not calling a timeout after Justin Herbert ran seven yards for a first down.
"I understand being aggressive and being physical and saying we're going to go get the first down," Aliotti said. "... David Shaw in my opinion had conceded the game because he didn't call time out after the first down.
