The Oregon Ducks are officially back in the first round.
When Troy Brown Jr. was selected by the Washington Wizards with the 15th pick in Thursday's NBA Draft, it marked the first time an Oregon Ducks player was selected in the first round since Aaron Brooks was taken with the 26th pick in 2007.
For Brown, Thursday's selection also officially makes him the first one-and-done player in Oregon Ducks history and the first first-round draft selection under Dana Altman.
This end point is what many expected to happen when Brown committed to Oregon as a five-star guard out of Las Vegas more than a year ago.
