National Honors Stream in for Brooks

EUGENE, Ore. – A day after being named Pac-12 player of the week, Dillon Brooks was honored by three organizations as their national player of the week. The U.S. Basketball Writers Association, Naismith Trophy and NCAA.com all tabbed Brooks as the nation’s top player of last week.

The 6-7 sophomore forward from Mississauga, Ontario, led 16th-ranked Oregon to its first road sweep of the Arizona schools since 2012, and first sweep for any Pac-12 school in Arizona in four years. He averaged 21 points per game on 50 percent shooting (15-of-30).
