For a long time, consensus four-star wide receiver Mycah Pittman didn't truly consider the Oregon Ducks a serious contender.
Sure, they had made his top five, but the reality was the 5-foot-11, 195-pound pass-catcher, out of Calabasas High School (Calabasas, California), had fallen in love with the Florida Gators during his visit.
Oregon's inclusion wasn't quite window dressing, but when the son of former NFL running back Michael Pittman planned a trip to Eugene he wasn't expecting it to change much of anything.
It took a game-changing unofficial visit to Oregon in May, strong relationships with Mario Cristobal and Marcus Arroyo and a multi-week wait for a commitment video, but Pittman finally committed to the Ducks on Monday.
