SAN FRANCISCO – Recent Oregon lacrosse graduate Natalie Modly and track & field's Sabrina Southerland are two of 24 recipients of Pac-12 Postgraduate Scholarships for the 2017-18 academic year, announced by the conference office on Friday.
The scholarships, worth $9,000 each, are awarded to up to two student-athletes from each Pac-12 school annually. The selected student-athletes maintained a minimum 3.0 grade-point average (GPA) and demonstrated a commitment to education, campus and community involvement, and leadership.
Modly will attend Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine to pursue her Master's in dentistry. A Pac-12 All-Academic first team selection as a senior, Modly graduated with a degree in general science and carried a 3.
