The 2017 Major League Baseball first-year player draft kicked off Monday with the first 75 selections of players from the high school and college ranks finding out where they could be continuing their baseball careers in the big leagues.
As the draft continues with 40 rounds of selections wrapping up on Wednesday, June 14, we will keep you updated with a complete list of players with ties to the state of Oregon drafted by MLB teams. Our list will focus on Seattle Mariners selections as well as players from the Oregon State Beavers, Oregon Ducks, Portland Pilots and Oregon high school athletes that hear their names called over the next three days.
