Greyson Leach fired a 1-under 71 in the opening round of the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional on Monday, positioning Oregon firmly in the hunt for a qualifying spot for the NCAA Championships. Leach was one of just 14 individuals to go under par on Monday and ended the day tied for ninth. As the top finisher for the fourth-seeded Ducks, who shot a combined 4-over 292, the team entered the second round tied for sixth, just one stroke behind the top five.
Aiden Krafft and Nate Stember both finished 1 over par, placing them in a tie for 22nd.
