Greyson Leach shot a solid 2-under 68, positioning himself in the top five and leading the No. 25 Oregon men’s golf team during the opening day of the 77th Western Intercollegiate at Pasatiempo Golf Club on Monday. Leach began strong with a bogey-free front nine, securing two birdies. However, a couple of bogeys on holes 11 and 14 brought him back to even par. He regained momentum with an impressive eagle on the par-5 15th hole, followed by consistent pars to conclude the day tied for fifth in the individual standings. Aiden Krafft also performed well, notching three birdies for an even 70, landing him tied for 16th after the first round.
